Fantasy Football Draft Fantasy Scoring Help
Important: If you see you need more rows to enter your fantasy football scoring system just enter in what rows there are and submit. After submission Robocoach will add more rows. RoboCoach makes getting more rows difficult by design because needing more rows usually indicates you are entering something in on a non-pro-rated basis (hard) when you could be entering on a pro-rated basis (easy). Question: In my league these are scoring methods that I cant get to work in your setup. Example:
When I try to put these into the setup, for example putting 0-15 yards rushing it always reverts back to 0-999 yards. Does the same with receiving and passing always reverting back to the 999 yards. |
Answer: For scoring 1pt/15 yards, 1pt/30 yards, 1pt/25 yards we would just put in the prorated section (respectively):
-OR (NOT RECOMMENDED BECAUSE IT IS TIME CONSUMING)- You can enter in the nonprorated section:
Finally, regarding the '999' values. By default the scoring system highest range will be set '999'. In the above example, you award 2 points for rushing yardage from 16 to 30 yard, but if you don't define what should happen above 30 then FantasyFootballDraft will assume that you mean to apply that 2 points to anything above 30. Consequently, the rule becomes 'award 2 bonus points for rush_yd from 16 to 999 yards. |
Question: There is a category for Kickoff Return td and Punt Return td for offensive players, but the scoring seems to be just for return yards and number of returns. Am I just misinterpretting it or is there no scoring possible just for tds in those 2 categories? |
Answer: Yes, you are misinterpreting it. It is for the tds AND the yardage. If you award points in a pro-rated fashion, e.g., .1 points for every yard of the touchdown returned then award using the 'pro-rated' points section. If you award in a non-prorated way then award using that section, e.g., 6 bonus points for a kickoff return between 0 and 999 yards, or maybe, 4 points for a kickoff return for td between 0 and 40 yards and 6 points for a kickoff return for td between 41 and 999 yards (The system will default the higest level to 999). If you like you may combine the pro-rated and the non-prorated scoring, i.e., have scoring for both categories at the same time. |
